The only reason i don't get laid is because these days I'm so shy as a result of not wanting to appear lecherous or scare anyone or whatever else that I don't approach women. This shouldn't be a problem but now that I'm more detached from the Roma scene because of school and work and all I'm not around people my age very often.
Plus, I'm picky with women. They tend to latch on quickly with me in romance, so I can't be casual. Plus I want someone I can be with, more than i wnat someone to FUCK, even though the carnal urge these days is pretty high. Like I said, they latch on once they get with me.
And so on. Otherwise, here is what happened with my week, in a nutshell:
I voted last week, for the first time ever, and as expected, my vote did not matter, as many of the candidates I voted for did not win. Perhaps this correlates with the fact that I refused to vote for a Republican, and Republicans swept damn near every office in Nevada.
I wrote a two page analysis of a business article in ten minutes on Wednesday during my work shift.
Speaking of work, orders are flooding in for machines and my boss and I are overloaded. He threatened to quit yesterday. He threatened ME, rather than someone who can fire him. You cannot imagine what I deal with day after day at this place, and that's BEFORE I go to class.
I pounded a soy latte after work on Thursday and, ten minutes, proceeded to ace the Rock Exam in geology, because I step up when it's all on the line.
Kellie the Redhead at Borders put in her two weeks because management is jerking the cafe employees on scheduling. Cory the White Skater Boy and GASP! Elaine are pondering quitting as well, and I don't think, should there be a mass exodus, that I'd hang out at Borders anymore.
Co-workers sat with me on Friday and told me not to accept a permanent position with teh company if offered, as the gaming industry, especially in the slot machine business, is REALLY shitty to employees, and that I would NOT be treated well. That was all I needed to hear.
On Saturday night, I talked with my best friend on AIm until 4 am and made these.
