I spent 9-11-02 in a Super 8 Motel in Hurricane, Utah watching MTV in my underwear in the bed. MTV did something they haven't done in a while:
They played videos.
Collect yourselves. Yeah, they place Bruce's 9-11 song The Rising once every hour, maybe even more than that, but cool for them to actually play videos for once.
Hurricane was nice, no noise. I drove around the outskirts of St George looking for a coffee shop that didn't exist and drove through Cedar City, also finding nothing, before getting gas and leaving.
I went to a restaurant my parents took the family to WAY BACK when I was still 10 or 11, and the facade hasn't changed, but now you've got three teenage kids running the joint instead of the oldsters that were there before. Food was alright, but it, as you would expect, was just not the same.
