So I get these random fantasies sometimes, and lately I've been having fantasies about the kind of home I'd like to have at some point. The setting rarely changes: usually a secluded home in the Pacific Northwest in the woods, in the middle of the temperate rainforest somewhere, on a mountain above a rock face. But what I want to talk about is the interior decor, as that sometimes changes. I don't know why, but lately I've been thinking I'd like a gothic decor in my home (future home I should say; I am nowhere near buying one right now, hence the word ''fantasy''), with blood red walls (blood red walls are a non-negotiable must), black/dark brown/cherry furniture, really high ceilings with massive chandeliers, really high wooden double doors, a spiraling staircase, with crazy scary statues, great big arches, paintings, red carpet, black hardwood flooring, etc...

I don't know why I think about these things randomly, but I do...I have never really had a goth phase in terms of clothing, but the gothic architecture and decor really floors me...

So anyone else has any cool decor ideas to help me build my dream home in my head?
