Ever heard the phrase "thousand yard stare"?. I did something rather irrational a few years ago an joined the National Guard. So Its one weekend a month two weeks a year. At least that is what I thought. Post 911 I've been on active dutey off and on for about 3 years since joining 4 years ago. The longest stretch ended this past june after spending 18 months in El Paso Texas.
I realize I could have it worse and I could have been sent to the WAR ZONE. It still might happen anyway. So now I'm back to the one weekend a month gig. Which means I have to cut my hair and shave my beard. Cool. Thats pidley. What I cant stand are all the assholes I have to deal with. So Here I am with my rugular "after action Stare".
