Well, the gears are starting to roll again, my entrepreneurial spirit rekindled.
I've had two business plans formulating in the back of my head for quite some time now. The first of which I have 50% completed - it was my business plan from my Entrepreneurship 30 class in high school, and was so solid I not only aced the class, but was informed that the plan had a 95% chance of success. The reason I say 50% completed is that said plan is now 6 years old and needs a lot of reworking and updating.
The only problem with that is that I have no money. Funds that are needed for the proper courses. Adding a business course wouldn't be a bad idea either, and it wouldn't cost me a whole lot if I attended the course at SIAST.
After that 1.5 - 2 year deal is completed, I'd have to go through the tough stuff, namely a massive loan - though if I'm lucky, I could possibly get a government grant for my project.
In the end, if this ever does take flight, I'm sure it'd fare well, but half of me just wants to do it for the fun of it.
My second idea, to build and customize guitars for profit, would be much easier on both the mind and the wallet. It would be a slow process for it to become profitable, I'd have take it in steps, ie build one, sell it, take what little profit is made to buy more parts and do it again. By no means a get-rich-quick scheme, just a combination of hobbies.
It'd be nice to just trip over an enormous bag of money and not have to deal with loans and debt.
