Rodan (long story behind that one but back in the dawn of MMPGs (Empire on Plato) I was Godzilla's wingman - hence Rodan

Anyway - I"m back at my parents house with my son for the weekend - I'm trying to install Trillian so I can use all the various IMs I've got but it wants to install quicktime and Quicktime keeps not installing. Grrr....
Tomorrow I'm hoping to take my son somewhere where we can have some fun - like maybe my brothers house so he can play in their pool - and sunday I'm thinking we can haul my dad to Rehobeth Beach and go play in the little bitty water park behind the theatres. Of course, my son would be happy sitting here watching "Nick Gas" - which is Nicolodeon mining their old game shows for content on their "sports" channel but we'll see.
I just found out (reading a delaware magazine while i was waiting for quicktime to install) that the DE. Film Festival is in Rehobeth also - at the Midway theatres. The last time I was at those theatres I was pretty much struck by how much they sucked as theatres because basically it's just a bunch of stores in a strip shopping center they installed seats and screens in - no banked seats - sucky sound, the works. I"ve been tempted to go back just to see if they're still sucky but I just can't bring myself to do it. I HATE theatres with sucky sound and flat floors - you can't see OR hear
OH wel, enough whining - back to watching quicktime download - or paint dry - about the same thing

Never actually noticed the baddie giveaway in The Matrix posters, then again I didn't actually see it til *shock, horror* April 2000 on VHS- sad, sheltered life I know
The Dragonball Z idea sounds well thought out tho- that kinda lineup could give it some clout in appealing to the populists
