I don't know. I'm starting to feel that a lot of the atributes I assigned to "adulthood" aren't the right ones. More importantly that I'm atributing things that are aplicable to my "adulthood" not the "adulthood" of others.
Maybe there is something to be said for remembering that not every "adult" you know is functioning on the level that you might atribute to their age.

Yeah, my ex-husband used to think he could get away with anything so long as flowers ensued. If Jason sent me flowers, I'd probably vomit and then yell at him thoroughly. I prefer presents for the sake of presents. For the sake of apology, well, I think just the apology is sufficient.
