As for the taxes question, it's not the end of the world.
Yet.
You can file taxes for previous years in case you missed the deadline, but the problem is that you're gambling. If they decide to audit you (and it's not that likely given your age, since audit's are usually aimed at a higher age bracket that is largely responsible for tax evasion) you could be in trouble.
I recommend taking care of the tax issue, but I doubt it has to be done tomorrow. It is something that can come back to bite you in the ass, but you probably have a few years before that happens.
