wow - first day - so this is it. i've finally got an account. hmm...so what to write? well, i could go out, do my research, find some quip about any of the many situations in the news today, or even anything pressing on the past. i could make a snide comment, or say something sweet to try and automatically make friends...i guess i could do any number of things. but i think what i will say is just "hi"...and i hope this site turns out to be everything that i have been told that it is.
