For the past number of years, probably even before I had gotten to Richmond, VA, I think had forgotten an element of my personality. I didn't even think about it being gone, I simply didn't understand why things were the way they were. Relationships were few and far between, and the ones I had were either boring or manipulative. I very recently came to the epiphany that rather then the people I was trying to see being wrong, it had been my approach. I guess they were right when they said "The common denominator in all of your failed relationships is you."

It's amazing how simple romance is when you have confidence. The anticipation of being in the driver's seat as you back out onto the road, to begin a long trip. The first click of the roller coaster before it slowly begins to scale the first hill. Knowing that once again you are at the beginning, and feeling prepared for the obstacles, excitement and disappointments that lie ahead.
