You have hit the nail on the head sir - capitalism is the reason why animals will never be treated fairly, like people, becoz its all about profit!!!!!!!!!
I think as a race we need to reduce our meat consumption (as many eat more than is healthy) not cut it out altogether but insist that the conditions animals are kept and slaughtered in are as humane as possible ( i should add i rarely eat soya, so that isnt a major issue but you do have a point - and people would need a major nutrition education) xx

My dad has sold his boat and moved in with me.
