We finally got around to visiting Miyajima Island and I damn near had a heart attack. Being surrounded by so many sweet babies literally made me tear up.....until they saw I was out of food to feed them which they then tried to eat my clothes š .
Iām sure some of you have heard about the infamous āDeer Islandā and how friendly the deer are and Iām here to let you know itās 100% true! ALL OF THEM were so docile it was crazy! Theyāre all so nosey too. The minute you start fumbling with any sort of plastic they come right up to you and wait for food, or nibble at what ever is hanging off of you until you feed them. I seriously had to feed some and then run into a store because they kept following me (which youāll see a video of tomorrow).
We also checked out a Bengal Cat cafeš and an Owl Cafeš¦. Tbh Iāve been to 100 of various car and owl cafes in Tokyo but they still havenāt lost their affect (and probably never will)...
Over the next few days Iāll be sharing a ton of videos and pictures so Iām going to go ahead and apologize now šš¾ , but if you guys have any questions about them donāt hesitate to ask!
P.S. of you get the chance to visit Miyajima Island donāt pass it up! It might not be anything flashy but I feel like everyone should experience up close interactions with as many animals as they canš¦šš¦ š¤
P.S.S. To all of my cat lovers, I hope you love my backpack š
