We finally got around to visiting Miyajima Island and I damn near had a heart attack. Being surrounded by so many sweet babies literally made me tear up.....until they saw I was out of food to feed them which they then tried to eat my clothes 😅.
I’m sure some of you have heard about the infamous “Deer Island” and how friendly the deer are and I’m here to let you know it’s 100% true! ALL OF THEM were so docile it was crazy! They’re all so nosey too. The minute you start fumbling with any sort of plastic they come right up to you and wait for food, or nibble at what ever is hanging off of you until you feed them. I seriously had to feed some and then run into a store because they kept following me (which you’ll see a video of tomorrow).
We also checked out a Bengal Cat cafe🐈 and an Owl Cafe🦉. Tbh I’ve been to 100 of various car and owl cafes in Tokyo but they still haven’t lost their affect (and probably never will)...
Over the next few days I’ll be sharing a ton of videos and pictures so I’m going to go ahead and apologize now 👋🏾 , but if you guys have any questions about them don’t hesitate to ask!
P.S. of you get the chance to visit Miyajima Island don’t pass it up! It might not be anything flashy but I feel like everyone should experience up close interactions with as many animals as they can🦌🐈🦉 🖤
P.S.S. To all of my cat lovers, I hope you love my backpack 🎒
