How many times will you decide? How many lives will you define? How much control should we give up of our lives?
So I got a new internship today. I went in to interview for one thing but the guy thought I was overqualified and said they'd try me off in this other position. I start Monday. Its still no money, but its experience and contacts which are everything in film. Then I walked over to a nearby theatre after the interview to see "Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy", which was alright, not as great as I thought it could have been, but the effects all had a nice old-skool Star Wars vibe to them which I liked. They also didn't show the "Serenity" trailer beforehand which pissed me off cause I was looking foward to seeing that in the theatre with surround sound and the big ass screen.
The city was absolutly beautiful today. I actually walked from 34th to 14th Street which is a miracle for me cause I hate walking. It was just one of those days where it wasn't too hot or too cold and the sun was shining and everything was alright. I downloaded last night's pre-empted by the empty-headed president's episode of the O.C. which I enjoyed. Then to treat myself I bought myself Sleater-Kinney tix!
