Only 3 more days till Vulgarthon. I'm a little worried about the trip there and back. It looks like an hour on NJ transit but I've never taken NJ transit being a NYer. The thing I'm really worried about is coming home. Its supposed to end at 10:30pm but I've heard it usually goes wildly off schedule and the last train home is at 12:45am so I'm concerned about missing that cause if I do I'll be standing in a train station in Red Bank, NJ till 4:30am.

Any friends on here from NJ or familiar with NJ transit have any tips? Even the ticketing is confusing me. "I'm used to get on the (insert letter here) and take it to _____" and a flat $2 each way on my trusty metrocard. Also anyone know if the stations are well marked? Do they make announcements? I don't want to miss the Red Bank stop.

hey, saw you on the writers group, i'm trying my best to get as much of the things flying around my head down on paper at teh minute. nowheer near finished anything et tho. The course i;m doing at the minute requires me to do a poetry module which i suck at, i mean REALLY suck at! never mind tho eh? smile what kind of films have you written screenplays for? looks like you're into the same kind of stuff as me according to you profile bit at the side. anyway, hope to get to where you are goin and back without getting too lost. Went on the London underground last week on my own (i live in the north of ENgland so don't get to London ever) and it was well scary! they have some ticket machines which are all kinds of confusing, anyway, good luck biggrin

glad i found a fellow poetry hater! i did manage to knock out a sonnet the other day which has gotten some good feedback on my course conference so i'm pretty chuffed about that. have to put up with it til the end of june tho! trying to concentrate on writing the story i started on my last module whenever i get chance, which is never! so what's vulgarthon???
