Solomon once said that all is in vain, like chasing the wind. But, not only is everything meaningless, it is also absurd. It's absurd that genocide is being committed in sudan and it's also absurd that a tsunami can kill millions of people. I exist now, but someday I will not, and this boggles my mind. Yet, it is in the absurd that people find the most meaning. Lately I've been going outside in the evening and wishing( or praying) to the evening star. Though I know that it is simply the planet Venus, somehow a part of me believes that she is listening. The reason that people build giant towers to heaven is that one must believe that their life will amount to something however absurd that is. And those towers are destroyed for the same reason. A suicide bomber believes, absurdly, that a infinitely good and perfect God would order one to commit suicide and murder. Perhaps, this isn't a corruption a humanity but an example of it's cruel apex. People in their search for meaning in the absurd are willing to compromise all morals and still believe they are doing the right thing.
And what is morality? I usually say that it is not doing anything to harm another person, but even I am willing to compromise on this in some situations. I would have gladly fought against the Nazis and gladly killed many of them. So perhaps, I'm not any better. So what is the absolute truth? Is it possible to make sense of the chaotic world we life in and find meaning in it? All I know is that all is absurd.

My father had an affair and made me a baby brother. That baby brother is now 14 and currently living with me. It's a very long story.
