My life seems to be nothing but an endless cycle of working al week and partying/socialising all weekend. Kind of like that Pommy movie I didn't like...whatever it was called. GO! or something.

Anyway, a brief rant about my work. I work at Telstra, which will only make sense to Aussies. I'm in a call center, where the focus SHOULD be on customer service but is instead on sales. I'm meant to connect, fix and help business accounts, mainly landlines, yet I'm constantly being nagged to sell Bigpond broadband. I understand why they want us to get all the customers back from other service providers, but I do not like or get this broadband bullshit. I wnat a new job, one without sales. I've called the agency who got me this job, about a back-of-house job, also for Telstra, but I'm doubtful. I just don't wnat them to fire me because I can't make many sales. They say they won't, but I dunno, I have a strong feeling they will. Why else would they give us 6 months worth of probabtion?

Also, Telstra seem to have a policy of hiring weird/ugly people. I'm not just being shallow, it's true. I am in shock almost everyday by some of the freaks I have in my center. Holy shit, it's like a godamn circus!
