Oh god I am so slack with my blog here. I'm sorry about that...I hate to think I'm one of those people who don't update and just sort of hover around in the background.
My weekend was full on! Went to a psychobilly show on Friday night but since we all overdid it on the way there, half of the gang piked while the remaining three of us sort of sat around, giggling like teenage girls. It was hell coming home, I thought I needed to be sick on the buses but I physically couldn't throw anything up. Then we saw some scene kids, who delighted in waving at us because we're also alternative. I was appalled, to say the least. Spastic scene kids.
Didn't sleep most of the night, still felt rotten when I headed to Covent Garden to celebrate Canada Day with all the Canadians. I watched Drag Idol in Leicester Sq with Cam and her sister, saw the French film "Hidden", then went home to sleep away the exhaustion/pain.
Got up early Sunday to go to Wimbeldon. Unfortunately it wasn't on so we trudged up to Camden for the day. I blew a heap of money on new black jeans (which I really do need, as all my current ones are about to fall to bits) and a pair of black with pink Etnies. Hot. Speaking of hot, it was boiling hot in London and I thought I was going to die. I am so not looking forward to Brisbane summers, not one bit.
Once home I had a swim with some of the gils in the shitty kiddie pool that someone set up out back and had a BBQ for dinner. Then I slept. It was a long, tiring weekend but still goooood (too bad I didn't take any photos).
OH I also got my sleeve added to. Go to my pics and look at the latest photos of my sleeve-in-progress!
