hellolo.
so i joined this website on account of mary, and louise's freckled shoulders but lately it's been dawning on me that it's actually this whole wacky community of like-minded people who INTERACT and all. so i'm cautiously trying it out, posting some things on message boards and the like (and occasionally getting slammed by pissy lords o the boards for violating blog-protocal) and enjoying the friend- request thing (which is so much like the awesome kindergarten method of "will you be my best friend? i'll share my snackpack" except of course without the messy pudding exchange).
except i recently requested someone's friendship for the first time who will go unnamed (SNiff!) and got SNUBBED and am now whimpering and introverting like a kicked baby. well not really but it was a snub all the same.
and then i realized i'm not really sure what this whole friend thing is about anyway, besides massaging/inflating one's ego. so can someone explain the system? do you just watch out for each other's posts and respond favorably? do you gang up with your friends against people who like blink-182? and if so, can we be a gang like the jets that walks all synchronizey?

i check my "friend's" journals daily, and i write comments to them. and i will take special care to make sure that i pay special attention to their comments on boards and the like, and i always will offer sound advice should something wrong be going on.
i love the community really.
in fact, i've been loving it so much lately, i've been having trouble in the real world. eek!
it's great that you go running. my friend and i completely wussed out after seeing the grocery store had plowed their entire parking lot onto the sidewalk we wanted to take. so we turned around and went elsewhere.
there is no doubt that he knew and understood love
and heartbreak.
and he had the amazing ability to sum it all up in a few short sentences..
