As life ebbs and flows, we sometimes forget that our everyday actions and the things the everyday person does really makes no difference to the world we live in. Every so often for a brief moment in time we are lucky enough to be given a gift from nature. If we are truly lucky, then we may just be lucky enough to capture such a phenomenon and keep it for eternity.
The world really is an awesome place. People travel all over the globe to witness truly amazing visual spectacles hoping to see something so amazing that they find themselves utterly breathless and in awe of that which they are witnessing.
Upon opening the front door of my house this afternoon i was met by a sky that literally took my breathe away. Every so often the sun setting is worth mentioning, but this was something else. The colour in the sky is something that has been burnt into my mind. The setting sun was dancing with the clouds and the sky appeared to be on fire. The colour was as vibrant and a warm winters fire and the clouds formed shapes that even the most talented artist nor the brightest imagination could create.
There was an anger in the sky that almost appeared to be alive. Twisting and turning the sky looked to be alive with a fire that crashed and swirled like the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean gripped by the anger of an offshore storm. From striking, bright aggression to a warm, dull glow was seen in the sky in a display of sheer brilliance.
The atmosphere was expectant and still, except for the occasional breeze which moved the leaves on the trees in a restless manner. It felt out of place when the trees moved as it seemed the whole world had stopped to look at the sky.
Pictures were taken and the image saved. Looking at the images you can see the colour, the shape and you can get a feeling of the nervous, expectant atmosphere, but you cannot truly feel it. Not even motion picture would allow one to experience just how incredible this afternoon was.
No sooner than it began it was over. The vibrant, angry, incredible colour had gone and the sky returned to the sad, tired grey that is the norm. The shapes were still there, but without the fire it did little to emote any response.

I have got a job interview on Wednesday. I am really excited 'cause if i get the job i won't have to totally relocate and move to somewhere more than a 7 hour drive away, only 2 hours which i can do. The $$$ will be awesome too ...a full time graduate job, oh how life is a rollercoaster.
This week i am going to see Throwdown play at the Rev on Wednesday night so if any kids want to meet up, just let me know and i will be happy to oblige.
Next weekend sees me going to Sydney for my Grandmother's 80th Birthday, I can't wait, i love her sooo much (even if she does nag) and 80 yeah ....wow.
ooh, ooh, and i have been accepted as a contributer on FasterLouder so i can let other people know the magic or the shit i experience out in the musical wonderland that is Brisbane.
Still going strong...over 2 months now and no "shit" has been taken !!! yay
The jury is out this week, but i think they will find that girls still do indeed suck... except for a few, they know who they are
Life is full of surprises
