Well ......a year away and i thought it might be just a little tiny bit different back home.....oh well.
Honestly though it is good to be back in the heat and humidity. I do however have tonsilitis.....why did i have to fall ill upon my return ...i can't swallow any alcohol without being in a world of pain ......
I also learnt a valuable lesson on my return flight home. Being hung over is not funny when you have to sit in a plane sitting 5 seats away from a crying infant. .........Oh yeah, went to the Gold Coast an hour after getting home.....the surf was average, but it was great to be back.

I mean, being stuck in a small space with screaming infants and assholes jostling your chair and gross food is bad enough, but adding a hangover to that? I'm surprised there wasn't a murderous rampage
