Go the Brisbane Lions. They are to me what the leafs are to a lot of Toronto residents. They are playing in the grand final this weekend and it is televised live on friday night here( http://www.ontariofooty.com ) If they win it will be 4 championships in a row. If they are successful i will not sleep for 2 - 3 days..........
Well...again i am faced with more fun and exciting things to do. Since getting laid off i have had nothing but interesting shit to do.
For example, yesterday a tv crew from home (australia) were filming for a show back home that is similar to regis and kelly, i turned up with 1 mission, and that was to turn up and to expose the triple j drum logo on national tv. Why...for the contest http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/events/beatthedrum/ .....i was inundated with text msgs, emails etc from friends and family and when i was listening to the station online i heard them discussing my antics from earlier on that day....funny shit.
Today i went to a girls private school as part of Auskick Canada to help instruct / teach the game of Australian Football ( http://www.afl.com.au ).......very interesting to actually be considered a teacher and also to be going into an all girls school...funn shit....
I have also just been informed that i can go to atlanta in a couple of weeks to officiate as an umpire for the US national Australian rules championships.....i get accomodation and airfare paid for and i also end up with US$100 spending money from the whole deal...sweet.
