The last few days, my brain has been doing everything it could to disagree with me, and unfortunately it has been relatively successful. However, last night I stayed up and just this morning have started to feel a semblance of normal.
My business cards are going over well and have indirectly gotten me a couple of job offers. It is kind of nice to feel in demand, for awhile at least. You never can tell what the future might hold, especially in my line of work. It definately keeps me on my feet.
E3 is going on this week, and my nerdy side is absolutely fascinated with everything that has been announced already, let alone what is yet to come.
I decided to start ending my journal entries with links to bands, songs, or whatever that I find of interest. Now, don't take this the wrong way, I'm not doing this to wave around my indie penis, but it seems like it might help promote some conversation, or turn some people onto music they may not have heard before. Or maybe I'm using it as an excuse to have something to write about on here. You can decide for yourself.
Anyway, go check out Preacher Gone To Texas and tell me what you think. A word of warning though, if you're uber sensitive to music with screaming, it may not be to your taste.
While you're at it, go check out their namesake, which is a really great series of comics/graphic novels by Garth Ennis.
