The last couple of days I've been plagued by an intensse creative block. I have plenty of ideas and concepts rattling around in my head, I just can't seem to concentrate on any lone piece of work long enough to do anything.
Very recently, I found a series of varied documents including but not limited to some very angsty, yet well written short stories from high school, a conversation with my most recent ex-girlfriend (specifically, the one that ended any respect and trust I had for her), and some photos I had of myself before and after dieting.
It's rather funny looking over things like that and feeling as though I'm looking at a miniature chapter of my life. And it serves as a reminder that sometimes you need to worry about what you're going to say to someone presently in your life, not what you'd say to someone who has left it.
