Made it back from California alright. Visited with the grandparental unit for a good week. For everyone, a word to a the wise: Even if you appreciate your family, when you start losing them, you realize how important they are to you. If there's someone you're close to, take the opportunity to write a letter, make a phone call, send an e-mail, or get in the car and drive out. See them. Enjoy the communication and/or visit. It's something you could look fondly upon for years to come, especially if something were to happen.
I, unfortunately, wasn't able to make out up to see the lovely freckle, as much as I would have liked to.
Anyway, we opted for a slightly southern route back, and visited a few states that I hadn't had the opportunity to be through before, it's quite an experience. I have some pictures from the trip I'll post in the near future.
Anyway, a couple stopovers in Oklahoma and Arkansas, and several days later, we returned home.
It's good to be back. While I have a wonderful (horrible?) wanderlust, I also find alot of pleasure from being home. And I missed SG, quite a bit too.
Another semester of school started yesterday. It's a long road, but I trust that when I finally get my BFA I'll be happy about the experience.
Those of us in SGKC need to get off of our asses and do something before too long. But, as I've found out, we are an apathetic group. It'll happen, eventually.
It was good catching up with you the other night, Alisa. Let's not let things drop off like that again, alright?
So how is everyone?
