MERRY CHRISTMAS

I went to midnight mass last night with my friend and one of her peeps from her college she had braught home for the break. I have never been to midnight mass before, I am not catholic.

It was absolutley beautiful. The catherdral had these gorgeous statues of Mary and the baby Jesus, and some machine was projecting stars on the high cielings and making them move. It was really stunning with all the gold spray painted walls and murals and the candles everywhere. I am obsessed with the history of Catholism being that it really came about the paegan religions conforming after seeing the followers of Christ were mulitplying etc. It is extremly interesting to learn the real meaning of easter (it really was nothing but a excuse to have orgies in the origional churches) and how all these religious holidays have less to do with Jesus but more to do with variations of the paegan religions. While I do not believe in the views of the Catholic church, I do admire all the money they put into making their churches so beautiful, and all the rituals ect.

I have not recieved all my gifts yet, but when Ii do, be sure I shall come back with a full report.
