Things are better today. Again thanks for all the comments and stuff. One of the things I love about this site is the amount of caring and love there is from groups of people that "normal" folks would think are rotten freaks of nature who most likely rob animal shelters for the donation money and animal euthenol.
For the most part, and I love that I do this, I do not judge people by their looks. Because from what I've found...you can't. Oh you can get basic things correct....but not the true details that mean anything.
Like you see someone sleeping in an alley covered in dirt and trash. You might think they are a dirty smelly waste of society leaching off of what others provide. Of course part of that may be true. He may be dirty...smelly...and yes even leeching of of society. But for anyone who has never been homeless...let me tell you. It is NOT so easy to just "get a job" when you have no clean clothes, no address no phone. For whatever reason they started to slip they will find it almost impoissible to get back out from where they are.
Unless someone takes the time to ask them why...find out what happened..and even if that person can't help them all the way back...they can help them with a step or two...or at the very least...help them find comfort for a moment.
I am filled constantly by the feeling of warmth this site radiates. Some people on here are chodes...but like any healthy creature SG removes them like the vile infections they are.
I ramble...but...that may be the rum and coke. Or that I'm a little manic..anyways. I feel good right now. And right now is all that matters to me...right now.
Thanks again for all that you do for me in words if not deeds.
If anyone needs anything please let me know.
Take care.

During this week on a couple of afternoons I had a couple of hundred canadian geese shitting all over my front lawn , It took a couple of rounds from a 12 guage to get them to take flight , and one is in my crock pot right now , my front lawn looked like 500 dogs took a dump on it and is impossible to walk across I'll just have to take solace in enjoying the fresh goose soup
In Middletown many of the local homeless people often hang out at Harbor Park , and many are dressed so well you would never even know without talking to them , during my recovery at the hospital I would often spend time at the park and met quite a few of them , and many are decent people who took a few wrong turns in life
And though I've never really been homeless, I do agree that sometimes, you become a victim of circumstances. It's just easier for most people to judge becasue they don't want to take the time to understand...
And I have a quote that I think describes you:
"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."
--Samuel Johnson (1709-1784)
Have a great weekend!
