I am almost finished with Spring quarter '09 at Portland State University, ready to fall feet first into the harsh expanse of summer, taking two summer courses, and writing, writing, writing. I'm going to study and practice my French; my goal is to get a scholarship for a Study Abroad type of program so I can finally travel to France and see what life is like outside the northwest, for once. My other travel plans of seeing New York, New England, checking out that marvellous city Montreal which I've heard so much about, and other places like perhaps the SW U.S. and Mexico, have been on my goal list so long now--I dream about doing these things, but I don't do much more than that. I have to make them happen. Going to save money. This recession is financially gnashing and masticating us all. I'll try and lay low and write and paint as much as possible. I guess that is all for now. Au revoir.
