Byebye chubby me.
Don't get me wrong. I'm actually pretty ok with how I look. Like, I'm perfectly content not dieting or working out.
But that's not the point.
See, I have to take daily medication to keep my high blood pressure in check. And I'm 33. (Had to for 5 years now)... also, I get exhausted easily. I used to be able to ride a bike for a good 8 hours and not feel it. On top of that, I decided recently to dress a bit more proper. Tailored clothes. Looking dapper. But, with my current size, that's not so easy.
So, on May 11th, once my parents leave for a 2-month European trip... I'm here to fend for myself. My own grocery shopping, cooking, and I have to keep myself company.
This all works in a way. Because if I cook for myself, I can control exactly what I eat. I plan to basically do meat/vegetables, and salads for breakfast. Little bit of dairy in there as well. That's it. I did it before, lost 35 pounds. I can do it again.
Also, because I'm fairly broke, and my good pals are moving away, I'll have fuck all to do. Plus, I have to house-sit, so, kind of stuck here. How to fill my time? Easy. p90x, combined with riding my bike to and from work. Actually, my bike will be my ONLY mode of transportation soon. I'm letting my car insurance lapse, which will also save me $200-$250 a month during the summer.
3 months of high intensity exercise, daily bike rides, and a strict diet. Yeah, I figure I'll drop that 40 pounds in no time. Get my blood pressure down. Get my stamina back. Feel awesome overall.
I cant fucking wait. I'll be fit, and much happier with myself. Which will boost my confidence. Which is also a huge plus.
So, here's to my summer!
