Ahhh it feels good to dive into some mechanical work again.
My 2008 Honda Ruckus has sat neglected for close to 6 months now, because I lost the "lust" for that bike. Yesterday I decided to dive in and sort out a few things, and do some general maintenance on the bike. I really still love the thing.
I plan to sell it soon however, to eliminate some debt and free up some of my money to put towards my overall debt load. It'll be a sad day when I sell it because it really is one of the nicest Honda Ruckus' in the local scooter scene (not my words, but I still believe it)
I also own a 1974 Lambretta Serveta Li 150... its a vintage scooter, fast, and pretty badass. I have a couple choices with that bike. Fix it up and sell it, or, trade it for two full sleeves from a local tattooist. I'm almost leaning towards the sleeves to be honest. I paid $2000 for the thing, and well, sleeves are fucking expensive here. $160 an hour to get tattooed at most local shops... and I've been craving some new tattoos for a while now.
I think I'll check with him to see if he'd let me ride it for this season, and at the end of the season if the offer is still valid, I'll probably go for it. Although I really could use that money to pay down my loans... hard to say.
Sadly it started raining so I won't be able to tool around on my scooter today, but I hope more sunlight will creep thru soon.
I also can't wait until the bike is done and the weather is good, I plan to do a photo-shoot with that bike so I'll have some sexy and current photos of it for the Craigslist ad.
And yes, that's a sparkle blue seat.

A couple sleeves could be cool as well, what theme you going with?
