Ah crushes...
So last night went amazingly well. I'm surprised at myself, but also relieved. It was a rather small gathering, which made things much more relaxed (I do well in small groups) - I was nervous at the start, but the people there were so great it calmed my nerves (and well, so did the scotch)
As for "girl" - I'm quite smitten to say the least. She's pretty amazing. Great smile. Great laugh. Great with people. Made me feel at home. Shes funny, shes interesting, has AMAZING taste in music (and scotch!) - pretty much my idea of 'perfect'.
But shes out of town for another month (left today) so, we'll see if she will want to continue to hang out when she gets back. If yes, awesome. If not, well, that's more than ok too.
I would totally lift my 'no dating' moratorium for this one. But I'm not gonna get ahead of myself here.
