Oh me oh my. What have I gotten myself into now.
In the great quest for more local friends, I unknowingly befriended an ex of a member of our scooter club. No big deal right? Well, I already she knew she was kind of 'not all there' after talking to her for like 5 minutes. THEN she adds me to Facebook. THEN My friend Magda sends me a private message warning me to stay away from this evil troll of a woman.
This seems rather ominous, and a whole lot of not good. Srsly. How hard is it to find normal friends in Vancouver? Apparently quite the difficult task indeed.
I remain vigilent that I'll find some good folks to call friends I suppose. Go for bike rides with. Hang out on the Drive or Main, or wherever is rad. Basically looking for good people. So far I cant find any. (Or if I do, the develop crushes on me, and then the next day want to be as far away from me as possible because things are 'too intense') But thats a whole other story.
I'm gonna try my hand at this single-speed/fixed gear business, seeing as how my current bike will cost me far too much to repair. So its down to: 'do I convert it, or buy a Republic bike for the cheap?'... we'll see I guess.
Oh and my man-crush Shawn told me he thought about me the other day. I srsly love that bearded bro-man. He went all metropolitan and moved to downtown vancouver though. Kind of a bummer. Never see the dude these days. Ah well, I'll ride with him soon. Good times.
I'll be happy to get a working bike again, that way I can actually start riding to work again, maybe lose a lil weight, get T-Rex thighs, and not have to rely on my aging car as much. I'm done sewing projects for now, and moving on to painting some canvasses to hang up on my barren walls. OH and I get to visit WileyCoyote (My favorite SG) in good old Utah in about a month.
I'll take the small little pleasantries in life as major victories.
Be well folks. Love you all.
(Oh, and I started a '365' here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/robotrogue/4878160844/ )
