I arrived home on Thursday after nine days in California. The San Diego comic convention was hell on Earth, during day two a light fog of moisture from the thousands of bodies formed in one end of the centre. I wasn't sure I would survive and feared my cooling systems would fail but did manage to have a good time in the end. I attended some good parties, saw many friends, and the hotel room with it's A/C + Wi-Fi was my Zion.
I did manage to grab a couple of preview comics with girlbots in them and a DVD bootleg of the Wonder Woman episode "Deadly Toys" which features a robot doppelganger. A sketch from Andy McDonald and another from Becky Cloonan sealed the deal on my return next yeat. These things bring me great joy.
We departed with a comrade for Orange County and then took a train up to Sherman Oaks. A few days around the Los Angeles area was quite good; seeing friends, visiting WB and Cartoon Network, and picking up the Suicide Girls book.
Now I am pleased to be home.

I love how it's only funny if you understand binary.
