Husky FAIL :
7am in the morning, and the clutch cable goes PING!
Luckily I managed not to run into the rear of the van in front... But it was a slight panic moment, I have to admit. Thankfully being a big single cylinder, it stalled pretty easily when I stuck on the brakes. I then had to push it to that car park and call the breakdown people. The man in the van turned up 30min later, insisted he had to "attempt a repair" before calling the tow-truck, and then wasted over an hour trying to make up a new cable from his kit. Suffice to say each time he tried the clutch lever, one of the ends on his new self-made cable went PING! haha. So then he gave up and called the recovery truck. Which took another 30min to arrive.
Hey-ho! I already have the new cable so will fit it tomorrow.
Otherwise I'm just workin' workin' workin'....
