Geez.. this is the most eloquent thing I've read in a long time:
I saw a woman sleeping. In her sleep she dreamt life stood before her, and held in each hand a gift-- in one hand love, in the other freedom. And she said to the woman, 'choose'. And the woman waited long: and she said 'freedom'.' And life said "thou hast well chosen. If thou hadst said 'love' I would have given thee that thou didst ask for. And I would have gone from thee, and returned to thee no more. Now the day will come when I shall bear both gifts in one hand." I heard the woman laugh in her sleep. --Olive Schreiner

On a different note, fuck graduate school, I'm joining the Peace Corps (don't laugh, I'm serious). What's worse, internet access in South America is about as slow as everything else is down in those parts,,, I'm afraid my time at suicidegirls.com is limited!
Speaking of time, I don't spend enough of it meeting people at this site so this journal is quickly turning into a diary. Geez.. even after that HUGE push "out of the nest" by Lorelei I'm still devoid of cyber friends. Shame on me, shame on me.. I should spend more time in front of my computer. Really should.
