Ugh...the life of an artist. How is it that we can go from being the star - having dozens of people catering to you, enthralled by you, and feeling like you're creative energies are in line, you're flying - to being the bottom feeder, taking tickets for grumpy old people coming to the theatre who treat you like you're garbage because "all you do is take tickets"?
I look around where I work and see so many others like me - some like me now, some like me 10 years ago, and some which I fear will be like me 10 years from now.
Why, oh why, couldn't I have loved a profession more linear, where you make it and then you've made it...but alas, it is acting I love.
