Well I have checked out what I have to do to join up.
I have to lose weight. I have to get my big, bulky body down to 217 to make it into Basic training in the Army. That is about 50 pounds. But they can and more than like will be sending my fat ass to "pork chop Camp" or "fat Camp" as I like to call it. This will mean that I will have an extra 4, count them FOUR, weeks added on to my Basic Training.
And If I want to go for what I want to go for - Airborne I have to get into really good shape. I have to be able to run 4 miles in 36 minutes that is a maximum of 9 minutes per mile.
So if there is anyone in the Las Vegas area who wants to help me train, get into shape along the way and who has a membership at the Las Vegas Athletic club let me know. We can start running on Monday. What a good way to start the year off.
