Okay guys here is my story
While at work today two of my fellow security guards (mind you these 2 guys make me feel petit and thin and have arms the size of my legs) have a verbal argument about some small and petty thing, like doors being left open. (Nobody was getting in trouble for it and the boss didnt have a problem but the guy who opens made a huge case out of it with the guy who closes at night.) While one guy was coming on his shift and the other was getting ready to leave they had to ride up in the elevator together and got into a very heated argument. One of the guys decided to get off the elevator on the 3rd floor and to get away from him. But the other guy followed him out and started fighting on the 3rd floor in front of a dentist office. A small 53 woman who was riding up with them tried to break them up. She broke a nail in the scuffle.
Anyway they break it up on the 3rd floor and one of the titans goes toward the first floor to get away from the guy. But then turns around when he gets outside and tried to go back into the building after the guy. At about this time my boss and my other security guard shows up, letting me know what is going on and we all try to get the guy to leave.
Well he is a 66 big black guy who had just gotten suckered punched and is not happy about it at all. While my boss is talking to him and seems to be calming down, the other guy comes out of the elevator trying to get back to work. When they see each other they start stripping off extra clothing, jewelry, etc and getting ready to fight. My boss takes one of them into an office and the 20 year old, friendly, stupid, fucked up guard and me are left to handle the other guy. All the time my guard is trying to stop him from getting into the building but mostly getting in the way. At one point I had the guy wrestled to the floor and he was still very upset but he wasnt going anywhere, hurting anyone, and
making a lot less noise but other guard comes over and pulls me off of him and helps the other guy up. He then starts yelling and trying to get to the office where my boss was with the guard.
It finally ended when the CEO of the company that owns the building and almost all of the companies within the building shows up, after his lunch break and verbally chews out the guy on the street. The guy on the street finally broke down, cried and put his pull over on and left. When that was over the CEO and the friendly guard goes in and talks with the guy who threw the punch. The CEO ends up having another heated discussion in an office behind three closed doors and I still could still hear every word said. It was interesting to see the faces on the people walking by and asking me what was going on? My response of course was. What are you talking about?
Anyway they both ended up being terminated and we had to escort the CEO out of the building tonight, just to make sure that no one was waiting for him.
Finally on a silly note: someone saw me wrestle the big guy to the ground and is now telling people that I slammed him to the ground forcefully.
Today was a good day.
