There is nothing more sad than the loneliness and solitude of a broken heart.
I stand in front of my window and I have a perfect view of the bay.
Blacken clouds lumber to the coast. Unleashing it's might of rain.
The winds are whipping crazy against my window pane.
Wonderful acoustic music playing in the back ground.
Why do I feel that my heart has been stabbed a thousand times.
I want to rip open my veins and bleed out this poison that she has left me.
My heart roars in it's thunderous beat inside my chest.
As I look out into the bay, I remember moments that were filled with much more
happiness. On a different coast, country, and time.
I watch the curtain of rain come closer. Tears trickle down my cheeks.
Damn, that woman with her sympathy.
There is nothing more sad than being alone in darkness enclosed in solitude in the wake of a storm.

Loneliness will make you a better person if you persevere. Oh, and the guy who wrote The Shadow was Walter Gibson. At his peak he was writing two Shadow pulps + several paperback originals a month, over a million words. Keep writing in the Pulp group!
