Many, many years ago while I first started serving in the Army.
I was stationed overseas in Germany. I had discovered that I could express my self very well by writing poetry.
I used the vehicle of expressing my deepest emotions and unveiled some of deepest desires. At times, writing my poems allowed to feel things that I would otherwise would have buried or missed out.
Here is another poem that I had written early in my adulthood. I happen to have won a few prizes and it has been published. This poem paved the way to further develop my skills and to discover the courage to feel deeply and passionility about many issues and events. This also allowed to capture a moment in time that seemed to fleeting by, then the words took form. Well, here it is and I hope you enjoy this poem called "A Transformation of a Friend"
My friend I hate to do it.
But our friendship has to end.
Although, I know you care,
I must not consider you a friend anymore.
Please, I implore you to not to argue, but try
to understand that time changes two people,
as the tide changes the sand.
I told you it would happen.
Our friendship was bound to end.
For I look at you in a very different way.
I've fallen in love with you....
....my friend!
