The class reunion I mentioned in my last blog entry has taken place yesterday and it was fantastic. It's so weird to meet your former classmates again after ten years. Many of them haven't even changed that much and still look very much like they did back in school. My former best friend is even wearing the same t-shirts he was wearing back then.
Of all the people who've been there only my former class teacher did recognize me immediately, all the others were utterly baffled when I told them my name. I guess the fact that I've lost 30 kilos since that time had something to to with that.
What really amazed me was that only two out of twenty-four people were married and only one had a child. I think that this is a rather small quota for a bunch of 27-28 year olds.
I was also surprised that almost everyone of us made something out of themselves. Only one of us is currently unemployed. All the others have jobs, mostly really good ones too.
This reunion made me a bit nostalgic, almost melancholy, but most of it all it was tons of fun.
Pictures will probably be edited in later on...
