I logged in today and encountered the new "SG 4.0", so I have a couple of observations.
The site is noticably slower than it was before--I'm on a DSL connection and I imagine that it's unusable on dialup. My main concern, however, is the increased use of Macromedia Flash, especially Flash 8. Linux users such as myself are limited to Flash 7, and although I'm not having any problems at the moment, incompatibilities between the two versions could make the site inaccessible in the future.
I'm using Firefox on Fedora Core 4. My user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4
