Last year, I faied to do something that I had done for the previous 8 years: do a "Love Sucks" Valentine's Day radio show. I contend that the better music is written about breakups (as opposed to music written about healthy, non-fucked-up love), so every year in high school and college, I would play 2-3 hours of fucked-up breakup, stalker, etc. songs on the radio. Mark Shelley used to do a similar thing on Halloween, only with monster songs, and I, personally, found that very enjoyable.
Anyway, I decided this year to make up a playlist as if I was on the radio. Being that I didn't have KCOU's library available, I just did it from the songs I have on my computer (approx. 35G). I tried to make sure not to have more than 3 songs per artist (otherwise, the whole thing would be Songshia and Smog). According to my iTunes, the playlist is exactly 4 hours long. Being that it's not on the radio, it doesn't really account for FCC rules or KCOU format (hence the Dream song, as well as the Britney song).
Nevertheless, if anyone can figure out the lastfm.com thing, you can check out my profile (profile name: rjg6cb), and presumably listen to any of these songs tommorrow, as I'll have the playlist up.
(As usual, please forgive the typos)
