Getting all budgeted and making new friends
I realized today that 2 checking accounts, 3 savings accounts and a credit card was more than I could really manage on my lonesome so finally broke down and bought a copy of Quicken today... to keep my money organized for the next 8 months, I figure I'm going to need to stay super organized if I'm going to make it through.
I got a lot of that tedious work done of breaking down all my expenses and tranfering bill pays to my local checking and paying off bills... updating addresses. A lot of stress removed in doing that all.
I didn't get as much homework done as I would have liked... but I do have study plans tomorrow with Christian and I do have the weekend for practice as well. So, I will manage.
This week has been the first week that I've really felt settled enough to hang out with people (and had the bonus of opportunities to do so). Tuesday night was wing night, which was the single most amazing thing of all time. I don't think I remember the last time that I laughed that damned hard, plus it was fun to get to know some of the kids from school that aren't in my class.
Coolest new person of the week? Kristen. For bringing up important questions.... like how robots recharge their batteries... and for giving even better answers.
