More Notes on Moving
1. E-mail exchanges with Body Mind College: I've been emailing back with Aesha of Body Mind College and she's been very helpful getting all my questions/comments and concerns answered. It looks like I'll be able to start as soon as I get settled in California as they have a payment plan to complete the year program over a 2 year period by paying $292.00 every month, which I should be able to budget for *fingers crossed* After the first 200 hours of class I'll be able to start working within the profession even! So that by the time I graduate I have a client list. I'm also going to be able to take a tour of the school when I'm there in October, very awesome! I'd be going for the massage therapy degree FYI.
2. Might Be Paying to Move Craig With Me: My best friend Craig wants to move with me, but frankly he can't afford to save money. He doesn't have a lot of possessions though, so he wouldn't add any cost to the actual move. He also wouldn't be bringing a car of his own, so he'd be able to drive the moving truck. The only real additional costs he'd bring to the table would be me paying for rent for a two bedroom for a month - two months on my own. Which means I'm going to need to save up EVEN MORE money before I move. I'm going to probably have to get a second job (Craig already has 3 jobs...). I'd love to have him in San Diego with me though, so I think this sacrifice would be worth it, especially after he got on his feet.... cheaper having a roommate! I'll definitely need the price cuts to after I start school
3. Tim's From San Diego: One of my favorite FM bartenders, Tim, is from San Diego originally (I found this out after hearing him talk about it last night) and his best friend still lives there... In fact his best friend owns a lot of apartments in decent neighborhoods... in fact his best friend owes him a couple favors and he may be able to pull some strings to get me into a good place for cheap. It pays to be loved!! He freaked out excited when he heard I was moving there last night and talked my ear off about all sorts of stuff about living there.
Umm.... I'm pretty sure that is all.

P.S. Vinny, I totally still want that care package filled with "moving and visitor information" stuff. For reals. I need to see all the angles I possibly can before I move.
EDIT: I'm totally going to get a second job to take the financial pressure off the move. I want plenty of money when I move so that I don't have to freak out over money matters.

The prospect of my lady, the Rizzlle, moving away from America's Mid-section to a real city is thrilling, like absolutely.
