Shit, they don't kid around
I totally have new respect for you boy:
If I were in San Diego right now, I'd be making my meatballs for sure to make up for that horrid shit. I promise you that. Even if they are the biggest pain in the world to make.
I had a pretty good weekend off, I got a lot done at least. I went out and bought fireworks for my favorite holiday of all time: the 4th of July!!!! (And my birthday is on a holiday, that's how much I love the 4th, more than my birthday) Seriously, when else during the year is it permissible to get drunk and light off explosives? Normally I'll blow at least $100 on explosives fireworks for the 4th, but this year I'm saving for a silly little vacation in January and so I only allowed myself $40 to spend on fireworks.... well, $40 and Josh.
Dude, I love Josh, cause this boy totally loves me. Friends are awesome. Friends who you don't see for 6 months and then decide that you're still the coolest shit around and so deserve the deals and breaks in life. Josh personally walked us around the store helping hand select the best deals for us. He then went in back and made coupons for us to give us a lot of the items at 1/3 rd of the cost. Then he gave us an additional savings off the order and then he gave us some bonus free packs just for fun (though we didn't have enough money to actually deserve them). All in all we ended up with well over $100 worth of explosives fire works for under $50!!! On the way out the door he pointed at our savings on the order and said "See that, Carissa, I care! I care!"
I'm really going to miss all the perks/idol worship freebie stuff I get in Fargo just for knowing everyone. Seriously, they love me here and it shows. I hope they love me half so much in California!!!
4th is going to be awesome though. Grilling, Transformers, drinking, blowing shit up, what could be better?!
