So, I spent most of my weekend moving more boxes over and building a cube shelf unit to put my stuff on in my bedroom. Apparently Bowser's new favorite is boxes (though I don't know if it tops feet yet, feet are even more so his favortie). I really shouldn't say most. I have 2 and a half months to move and I'm doing it lax and really just enjoying the Hell out of doing it slowly.
So at the risk of becoming one of those girls that has to post photos of her cat in every post, I present you with Bowser's love of boxes:
He's so beautiful. But moving on.
Lindz came over yesterday afternoon to do yoga together (she'd never tried it before and I have spare yoga stuff). Afterwords I made us pretty much the best lunch ever. I mean it even had smoothies to drink with it... how can you beat that? Even though Joe's kitchen is smaller than mine AND doesn't have a dishwasher, I like cooking there better. Probably cause I know if I don't eat the leftovers, he will.
I also busted out my game cube this weekend for the first time in a long time. It was a debate between that and my sega, but I got Paper Mario ages ago and still hadn't checked it out, so decided to give it a go (after I got in some mario kart time). And I think I'm liking it. It's fun to play a Mario rpg. Kinda crazy. I like it. Though I'm pretty much a sucker for all things Mario or Sonic... probably why I loved Sonic pinball so damn much.
In addition to getting my share of Firefly/Serenity in this last week, I've also been watching all the old Justice League:
That show makes me beyond happy. Not as happy as Firefly though. It still makes me sad that show got canceled. The things they could have done with it. The complete series was probably my fave purchase of this year.
I think I'm going to save up and buy the Buffy complete series box set... it reminds me of good times with Stolpa back in the day. I have the money for it now, but I need to get a bike and have enough for car insurance and enough cash to have fun in Canada. I also want to start hitting up pawn shops for oldschool video games... i have quite a few of the consoles, so it'd be fun to start collecting games for them.
I miss having a cat around. But with my work I would have time to give it the lovin it needs.
