Colin and I had the best night ever last night. We celebrated our one month anniversary of being boyfriend and girlfriend.
He took me out to dinner to Fiddler's Green (which I love), where we drank vast amounts of beer (including my new addiction, Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale) and ate lovely Irish food.
After dinner, the ring that he gave me accidentally fell off (because it's a little too big) and hit the floor, and he picked it up for me and said..."Hmmmm, now that I think about it, why don't we go window shopping for a real one tonight?"
It sounded like a wonderful idea, but it was getting late. We drove over to Park Avenue to look at rings but everything except the restaurants and bars were closed. We walked around for a while and then went to the Wine Room and he ordered us some very expensive champagne, and pate and cheese. Then we got two glasses of that same very expensive champagne on the house.
It was a very romantic night, and he treated me like a queen. I have a feeling we will be going for that ring soon. I can't wait. I am so unbelievably happy to have found the man I am meant to spend the rest of my life with. What an unbelievable feeling.
Oh, by the way, here is a pic of my new ink...
Have a happy weekend, boys and girls!
