Here's a piece of irony...

I'm probably the only Christian on SG, and I have to work today. Oh, well.

Something very unusual happened to me recently. My manager's best clients are in town, and they've bought thousands and thousands of dollars worth of nude portraits by one of our local artists.

The husband told me that he wants the artist to draw or paint ME, and will pay him to do so. Me? WTF? Yeah, I've lost 25lbs since the start of the new year, but I thought he was kidding.

The next day, though, he calls me on my cell and mentions it again.

"Most of Edson's models are very beautiful, but they are so cold. They have no soul. Edson has to add soul to make them a work of art. He wouldn't need to add anything to you."

He also said that if Edson doesn't want to do it or doesn't have time, that he wants one of my co-workers to take some good digital photos of me and he will do it himself. He is actually quite talented - I've seen many of his sketches and paintings.

I think it sounds like fun, and it was a REALLY big compliment, but I'm not sure I want to do anything nude yet. It's really tempting, though!
