Greetings!
So, I had all four of my wisdom teeth out this morning. My mom told me that it was going to be so much worse than when I had my tonsils out when I was 22. She really shouldn't have done that, because this was SO much easier.
I couldn't even talk after having my tonsils out for about three days. They cut a bunch of extra scar tissue out of the back of my throat. I was in unbelievable amounts of pain.
They said that they were putting me into twilight sleep, but I felt knocked all the way out. I remember the doctor putting the needle into a vein in my hand, then leaning back to get comfy, and that was it.
Next thing I remember, I wake up in a recovery room, with my mom there ready to drive me home.
They sent some GOOD drugs home with me, which I was very excited about. AND, I have a refill if I want it. Which of course, I will.
I'm also very excited about the fact that I don't have to go back to work until Friday. I've recently started watching Lost - my friends got me started on it and my mom bought the first season on DVD a while back. I opened it today and watched the first three episodes.
I've also started watching "The Vicar of Dibley" on DVD. It's like a female version of Father Ted, which is one of my favorite shows anyway.
And that's all I've got, as I convalesce. I hope that everyone is doing well, and I will update again soon.
Good night!

I remembered asking the doctor how long it would be before the IV and gas knocked me out and that was it. Waking up in recovery was my next memory.
We haven't spoken for a while. I hope all is well! Say hi if you're bored someday.
